President leaves on official visits to Cuba, Brazil

President Mahinda Rajapaksa left for Havana, Cuba on a state visit on June 14. The President will be officially welcomed at the Grand Hall of the Revolution Palace where he would hold bilateral talks with the Cuban leader.

Thereafter, President Rajapaksa will leave for Brazil to attend the Rio+20, United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development. President Rajapaksa will make a statement at the Rio Conference on June 20,

President Mahinda Rajapaksa is expected to hold several bilateral talks with other leaders on the sidelines of the Rio Conference.
